Monsignor Ralph J. Chieffo, pastor of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Upper Providence, and the Cannavo familty of Delaware County were honored Oct. 25 at the 24th annual dinner dance of the Associazione Regional Abruzzese Delco at the Heritage Ballrooms in Ridley Township.

The association fosters an appreciation and knowledge of the culture of the Abruzzi region of Italy. Msgr. Chieffo was born in Avellino, Italy in 1948 and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1956, settling in Marcus Hook.
