Vanessa Oriolo, 21, is your typical Jersey Girl. She loves a good sushi roll from Taka in Asbury Park, comes from a big Italian family and hits the gym on a regular basis. Oriolo, who was born and raised in Colts Neck, enjoys hanging out on the beaches in Belmar and Long Branch and loves to cool down with an Italian ice from Strollo's Lighthouse — popular all along the Jersey Shore.
She's also the reining Miss New Jersey USA. Oriolo will be heading to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in July to compete for the title of Miss USA. "We have been working to win this title as a family for five years," Oriolo says. "I always dreamed of being on the Miss USA stage."
