Our Chairwoman, Linda Carlozzi, will be honored as Woman of the Year at the Italian Tribune's Christopher Columbus Gala Awards dinner, to be held on October 7, 2016 at Birchwood Manor in Whippany, NJ. Linda has dedicated 30 years to the Italian-American community. She is a founding member of FIERI and was elected to the board of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) in 2009, currently serving on their scholarship committee. She was also on the board of the National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW) and is an active supporter of Order Sons of Italy and the Columbian Lawyers in New York.

Ms. Carlozzi has been a director of the Italian Welfare League for more than 15 years, serving as President for 6 years, and currently serving as Chairwoman. The board members and directors of the IWL are proud that Linda has been chosen to receive this very prestigious award.
