A visiting delegation of Italian police from Ariano Irpino will visit Media, Pa., on Oct. 8 and attend a block party in their honor at Ariano Restaurante Italiano. They will meet with officials of Media and the Delaware County Police Chiefs. The event will feature a pictorial retrospective of the history of the Delaware County Police.

According to Lt. Col. Maria Felicia Salerno (back row, center) the Italian police officers are looking forward to a chance to "to show our appreciation to the work done by American Police Department who work every day like us to enforce laws and protect citizens." Proceeds from the day will benefit the Delaware County Hero Scholarship Fund.
