Ocean County Library will celebrate the Italian immigration era by paying homage to Italian women and their creative handcrafted items made for every-day use in the home as part of the library's Columbus Day festivities.
"Embroidered Stories: Interpreting Women's Domestic Needlework from the Italian Diaspora" will be presented by Jo Ann Cavallo, chair of Columbia University's Department of Italian.
