The Italian American Social Club of Waldwick celebrated its 8th annual St. Joseph’s dinner/dance at St. Luke’s Church in Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J. It continues on its path to bring forth traditions to the next generation in a whole new way. In tribute to St. Joseph, a first-of-its-kind St. Joseph’s altar for children was created beside the abundantly food and gift laden traditional adult’s altar.
The organization believes a children’s St. Joseph altar would be good “training wheels” to introduce our youngsters to this tradition.
