It'll be about the pasta, the wine, and the friendships Friday night at the Monterey Marriott. But Friday's 10th annual Italian American Cultural Foundation dinner will mostly be about four honorees who have established themselves as an important part of the Italian American fabric of the Peninsula, and have made significant contributions to the local community.

The semi-formal event — already sold out — will attract more than 200 people to the Marriott's Ferrante Room to honor John Cardinalli, Mary Alice Cerrito Fettis, David Marzetti and Mike Marotta Jr.
