The holiday table is set. A winter village occupies a portion of the neighboring room. Italian hospitality abounds. The family behind Vacaville’s La Borgata Winery and Deli is opening their Italiante farmhouse for this year’s Vacaville Museum Build Holiday Homes tour Saturday. Proceeds benefit the Vacaville Museum.
The 7,200-square-foot abode was built by family members. Construction began in 2002 and wrapped up a year later. Gerry Iuliano, a general contractor who also runs the winery, designed the spacious and warm home. Iuliano resides there with his spouse David Lewis. Marianna Schiavone, Iuliano’s sister, also resides there with her family. She runs the deli.
