While interviewing Frank Sinatra's youngest child,Tina, some years ago, Bob Santelli seized upon the opportunity to ask, "If you ever decide to allow anyone to do an exhibit on your father, the Grammy Museum wants to be it."
Her "we'll see" is now "Sinatra: An American Icon." Three years in the making, the interactive experience opens Wednesday and runs through Feb. 15 as the official exhibition in a series of worldwide events coinciding with what would have been the crooner's 100th birthday on Dec. 12.
