Nunzio Campanile loves to share this favorite story about his brother, Anthony, a Miami Dolphins assistant coach, and their family. “When Anthony was in college, he was dating some girl or whatever. So, we sat down for dinner on Sunday early, around 2 o’clock. Sit down, and this girl calls around 2:30,” Nunzio Campanile said. Well, I’ll call you back when I’m done eating dinner, Anthony responds. “So, 4:30 rolls around, and she calls again.”
I thought you were going to call me back, she said. “He said, ‘Yeah, I told you. I’ll call you when I’m done eating dinner.’” Two more hours pass, and the poor girl calls again around 6:30 p.m. “And he’s like ‘No, really. I’m not being rude. I’ll call you when we’re done eating dinner.’” “We legitimately had been eating dinner for like six hours, sitting around the table. But that’s not unusual,” Nunzio Campanile said.
