M. Steinert & Sons is pleased to announce a special album release event with pianist and composer Moira Lo Bianco. On September 19th the Moira Lo Bianco Trio, featuring Sweden's Bruno Råberg on double bass and Italy's Marcello Pellitteri on drums, will perform her newly-released album Lunaria.
Lunaria is a leaf that seems to be made of silk but develops a sharp stem, as if to protect itself from the world. Inspired by the essence of the lunaria leaf, Moira's debut album is a collection of 13 deeply personal and heartfelt pieces, including 11 original compositions, wrapped in the silks of classical, jazz, and Middle Eastern styles.
