After six weeks of play, team #3 won first place in the tournament. The winning team was led by Captain Willie Celata along with players: Anthony Antidormi, Natale DeMarco and Mike Romano. As usual, the games were very competitive and challenging. It goes without saying that at times, the competition was not without some confrontational moments.
A banquet was held on Wednesday, June 19th at the Flaming Grill Chinese Restaurant in Revere, MA. The players were awarded certificates for their great effort and fair play.Captain Willie Celata was awarded the Tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP), for his leadership and expert bocce skills.
