On the occasion of the 7th edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, the Department of French and Italian at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, invited Prof. Giovanna Frosini to lead an online lecture that will focus on central moments and aspects of Italian language and food experience; particular attention will be given to the analysis of turning points from the Middle Ages to modern times, followed by a reflection on current language trends in relation to food.
With welcoming remarks by Luca Di Vito, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Chicago, and prof. Grazia Menechella, University of Wisconsin-Madison. The lecture will be in Italian with English translation.
