Pop-opera tenor Pasquale Esposito will perform under the stars in a benefit concert for Casa Italia on July 9. The popular crossover crooner has 11 albums, four PBS specials and a host of world tours under his belt. Esposito released his first album — an Italian musical revue dubbed “Naples … That’s Amore!” — in 2005, with album No. 11 — a double CD of Italian and Neapolitan standards titled “Il Tempo” — hitting the streets in 2011.
He began his run as PBS’s top Italian crooner with the 2015 airing of “Pasquale Esposito Celebrates Enrico Caruso,” which he wrote and produced. Three more specials unfolded in the next five years: “Pasquale Esposito Celebrates Italian Piazzas,” “Il Tempo” and “In the Spirit of Christmas.”
