Is it schtick, or politic? Joe Piscopo, a lifetime entertainer, kept them guessing, and laughing, Thursday as special guest speaker at the Unico National dinner honoring Bill Curcio as the group's Community Leader of the Year.
For some time, political pundits were kept guessing whether Piscopo, a New Jersey native and resident, would toss his hat in the ring and run in the Republican primary for governor. He did not file for that race before the deadline passed on Monday, but he can still run as an independent on November's ballot.
