Since its inception, the Hawthorne Pride Alliance has sponsored an annual theatrical production which helps fund its scholarship program. After a very successful run of The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman last year, the HPA has decided to do a much more light-hearted dinner theater experience.
This year’s production, My Big Gay Italian Mid Life Crisis by Anthony J. Wilkinson will be presented to the community on May 19th, May 20th, and May 21st at Due Fratelli Restaurant on Diamond Bridge Ave. Anthony J. Wilkinson, who is the writer and creator of the My Big Gay Italian franchise, has been working closely with the cast as its consultant. Wilkinson was one of the Champions of Equality recognized by the HPA last year.
