Ahead of Memorial Day weekend, the Colonial Italian-American Organization (CIAO) will give a presentation on the American Military Cemeteries in Italy. The talk and video presentation will take place Sunday, May 22 at the Powhatan Clubhouse, 201 Charter House Lane, at 2 p.m.
Ron Grosso, a member of the organization, will discuss his experience as the director of the Mediterranean Region of the American Battle Monuments Commission in Italy from 1996 to 2010. The program will also include Italian snacks and wine, and there is a $5 entrance fee for non-members.
