Francesca Lollobrigida delivered a stunning performance to win Italy’s first gold medal of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, claiming the women’s speed skating 3000 metres in a new Olympic record time of 3:54.28.
The 35-year-old, whose birthday is today, celebrated in style in front of her home crowd by gliding to victory at the Milano Speed Skating Stadium on Saturday (7 February).
