Patchogue Village is gearing up for one of its oldest traditions: the Italian Festival of St. Liberata. The food and fun happens Saturday, Sept. 8, up and down Main Street. From noon to 6 p.m., Main Street will be closed for the festival. The day will kick off with the traditional parade, which will begin in front of the Suffolk County District Court and finish off at the Four Corners at 12:45 p.m.
Many of the restaurants will be serving meals on the streets. Families will also be able to enjoy the classic and Italian car show, children’s dance contest, face painting, a magician and ballon maker. Keep reading for more highlights for the feast.
