Italian Americans are known for their patriotism to our nation. From the immigrants who fought in World War I to the members of the armed forces today, Italian Americans proudly serve.
Each year, the Washington Italian Festival honors a sector of the Italian American community. This year’s festival honors Italian American veterans and active service members. This recognition is especially meaningful as America celebrates its 250th anniversary this year.
