Italy’s cultural sites experienced strong growth in 2025, with museums, monuments, and archaeological parks attracting significantly more visitors than the year before. According to a recent analysis based on ticketing data, attendance increased by 15.8% compared with 2024, confirming the recovery and expansion of cultural tourism across the country.
The study examined ticket sales from a large database of cultural venues and analyzed 49.2 million admissions recorded between 2024 and 2025. These entries were distributed across 226 cultural sites, including museums, historic complexes, archaeological parks, and exhibition venues.
