On November 8 at 7:00 p.m., Andrew Cotto, an award-winning novelist and accomplished journalist, will join us for a virtual author event hosted by Phoenix Books. Andrew, who will discuss how Italian food inspires his work as an author, is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Appetito magazine, a digital publication dedicated to Italian cuisine and culture.
While all of Andrew’s writing draws on Italian food in some way, two of his most recent novels—Cucina Tipica: An Italian Adventure and Cucina Romana: Another Italian Adventure—tell the story of a disheartened American who arrives in Italy on holiday and is transformed by the fact that eating well in Italy is a right, not a privilege.
