Pursuant to the 15th U.S.-Italy Joint Commission Meeting on Science and Technology, held in April 2026, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a call for proposals to advance U.S. and Italian innovation and prosperity.
The call is designed to connect researchers across the Atlantic, supporting cutting-edge research in advanced and sustainable nuclear technologies; advanced multi-scale materials, neuroglia models, and biocomputing; advanced biotechnologies for human health; and quantum technologies. Teams can apply for Regular Projects (up to €100,000/year) or larger-scale Flagship Projects (up to €250,000/year).
