Nuccio Scuderi emigrated from Italy to the United States with a solid background in baking and a desire to be his own boss.
He achieved that when he opened Etna Pastry Shoppe on Lyell Avenue in Gates 36 years ago. The bakery has been going strong since, with a loyal clientele flocking to Etna for the cannoli, pastries, cakes, cookies and breads baked on site.
We the Italians is a company that in 10 years has become a key relational hub between Italy and the community of the more than 20 million Italian Americans in the United States. We have built a set of information channels that monthly reaches 3 million Italian Americans.
