Located less than 60 minutes from mainland Italy, Ischia boasts spectacular views, striking volcanic beaches, and soothing thermal baths that are ideal for a relaxed getaway. In fact, Dua Lipa and Natalie Portman have opted for just that in recent weeks, with the former stopping off on her honeymoon with husband Callum Turner.
Despite its natural beauty (and somewhat burgeoning reputation as a celebrity haunt), the island doesn't draw as many UK tourists as flashy neighbour Capri. As such, Ischia retains a much more authentic feel and a great place to experience what the Mediterranean has to offer.
