The New Jersey Italian Heritage Commission (NJIHC), and Foundation for Innovation and Excellence in Italian Teaching (FIEIT) and UNICO National, the largest Italian American service organization in the United States, are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishing a collaborative partnership to support and expand Italian language education, cultural awareness, leadership development, and community engagement throughout New Jersey.
The partnership brings together three organizations with a shared commitment to preserving and promoting Italian heritage, language, and culture while creating meaningful educational opportunities for students across the state of New Jersey. As part of this collaboration, the organizations will support the implementation and growth of INSIEME, UNICO National’s groundbreaking high school initiative designed to strengthen Italian language education while expanding opportunities for cultural engagement, service, leadership, and mentorship.
