Believe it or not, it is almost THAT time of year. After an overwhelming winter (well, for those who aren't big fans of the cold and snow), and a pretty strange start to spring, Memorial Day is in view, and it's time to start looking forward to one of the area's favorite MDW celebrations...
It is an annual tradition for many, a sign that summer is right around the corner for others...The Joe DiMaggio Lodge 2248 Son's of Italy Italian Festival, aka, The Festa. This year, the festival will run May 21st through the 24th, operating hours from 6pm until 10pm weekdays, 4pm until 10pm weekends, and of course, fireworks on Sunday night.
