Samuel Joseph Magaro was a retired Magisterial District Judge in Lower Paxton and West Hanover townships. Magaro, 82, died May 9 at home. He was a William Penn High School graduate, attended Elizabethtown College and Penn State, served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Magaro was a probation officer for Dauphin County, chief inheritance tax officer for Dauphin County, research analyst for the speaker of the House of Representatives and administrative assistant to the Republican State Committee.
