The Mysterious Etruscans and the Tuscan City of Cortona

In collaboration with the Carmel Cortona Sister City, please join us for a fascinating talk by returning Dr. Michael Seaman on The Mysterious Etruscans. Sunday, September 22nd at the Carmel Library, Community Room B, 425 E Main St, Carmel, Indiana from 2 – 4 p.m.

The Etruscans were master traders, artisans and builders, directly influencing the Romans before succumbing to them. They planted the first vines in Italy and their brilliant civilization while mysterious, left behind remnants of their culture that endure 3,000 years later. Cortona was an important Etruscan city in ancient times, and still preserves its charming medieval character and history.
