Miss Columbus Day Queen Pageant & Parade returns to Springfield after two decades

The Miss Columbus Day Queen Pageant returned to Springfield for the first time in over 20 years, with Stefania Liquori crowned as the winner. The pageant, organized by the Sons and Daughters of Italy, featured eight women competing for the title, showcasing beauty, grace, and Italian pride.

“I’m really excited for the girls; they look beautiful,” said Dana, expressing enthusiasm for the participants. “What makes being here so special is just being around everyone, and she’s just so excited and so happy to be Italian American,” said Laura Ronghi from Southwick.
