Michelle Di Russo is happy to have a musical home in Delaware. After multiple associate or interim posts around the world, Di Russo was named the full-time music director of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra (DSO) in May.
“I don’t know if it’s every conductor’s goal, but I would say that for me, it was definitely the goal to be able to have my own place within an orchestra that was a really good fit for me, where I could execute my vision artistically speaking and musically, and reach out into the community and have an audience that is excited to come see us,” she says.
