The Town of Babylon has announced that Councilman Anthony Manetta has received the Golden Lion Award from the Sons and Daughters of Italy New York State Grand Lodge Foundation, Inc. The honor was presented at the 41st Annual Golden Lion Awards Dinner held in April at the Garden City Hotel.
The Golden Lion Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate leadership, service, and a commitment to strengthening their communities. Manetta was honored alongside other civic leaders for his continued public service in the Town of Babylon. “Councilman Manetta’s commitment to our community is second to none,” said Supervisor Rich Schaffer.
