If you didn’t know, Taylor Street is one of the most historic neighborhoods in Chicago. From the late 1800s to about the 1950s, this area served as a hub for Italian immigrants who settled here and established their families, eventually earning the title of Chicago’s “Official” Little Italy. This weekend, Taylor Street will be closed off to celebrate the Little Italy Festival!
Attendees can expect delicious Italian food from local restaurants, including pizza, pasta—basically all the classic Italian favorites. There will be multiple stages offering live entertainment, as well as wine, cocktails, and festival bars. You can immerse yourself in Italian culture and traditions, participate in carnival games, and explore various vendors featuring Italian merchandise.
