Colonial Playhouse, 522 W. Magnolia Ave., Aldan (PA), will present the concluding weekend of its production of “Italian American Reconciliation” by John Patrick Shanley, Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17. Best known as the author of the Oscar-winning screenplay for the 1987 film “Moonstruck,” Shanley has written more than a dozen plays, including “Doubt” and “Outside Mullingar.”
“At Colonial, we are proud to present ‘Italian American Reconciliation,’ a full-hearted theatrical reverie, equal parts café confessional and back-alley sonnet,” said director Maurizio Giammarco, also an associate professor at Temple University.
