Lady Gaga believes people should be kind to one another. The Grammy winner, 39, recently covered Mister Rogers' "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" for a Rocket and Redfin commercial set to air during Super Bowl LX, and she tells PEOPLE in an email interview that the song's message is exactly what people need to hear right now.
The Mister Rogers' Neighborhood theme song reminds Gaga of her "earliest memories as a kid" watching the show. "He was one of those rare people who made you feel like you were enough just by being yourself," she says. "That's a powerful sentiment to model for children, and it stayed with me."
