The Consul General Massimo Carnelos, together with Valentina Imbeni, Head of School at La Scuola International School, hosted an exclusive cocktail reception at the Consulate General of Italy as a gesture of deep appreciation for the La Scuola community and its families in the Bay Area.
Founded in 2002, La Scuola International School has been officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, with an educational model rooted in the world-renowned Reggio Emilia Approach. Over the years, it has become a leading center for Italian language, culture, and progressive education for students from Pre-K through eighth grade.
The Consul General and the Head of School had an opportunity to thank La Scuola’s Board Members, families, and community supporters for their ongoing contributions. They also discussed exciting future initiatives, including the opening of La Scuola in Milan for the 2026–2027 school year.
The evening served as a meaningful celebration of the longstanding educational and cultural ties between Italy and La Scuola—connections that continue to shape the Bay Area through shared commitments to innovation, excellence, and global-minded education.
The Consul General and his staff extend their sincere thanks to all attendees for contributing to a warm, collaborative, and inspiring event.
