Italy’s agri-food industry confirmed its position as one of the strongest pillars of the national economy in 2025, reaching a new export record of €72.5 billion. The sector grew by 5% compared with the previous year, outperforming overall Italian exports, which rose by 3.3%.
The figures highlight the increasing global demand for Made in Italy food products, from cheese and cured meats to coffee, pasta, and baked goods. According to industry estimates, one out of every ten products exported by Italy now comes from the agri-food supply chain.
