Tuesday, December 2. Departure: 4 pm from the Italian Cultural Institute, 686 Park Avenue, Manhattan; or meet at 5:30 pm at 1152 84th Street, Brooklyn. Discover the Christmas magic born in the heart of Brooklyn, inspired by the Italian spirit!
Experience one of New York’s most spectacular holiday moments: the Dyker Heights Holiday Lights Tour, exploring the city’s most famous decorated homes, where every street sparkles like a living nativity scene. It all began in the 1980s, thanks to Lucy Spata, daughter of Italian immigrants, who decided to decorate her home to honor her Christmas-loving mother.
