A pioneering Italy–United States research collaboration is advancing new methods to predict neurological diseases years before symptoms emerge, uniting leading scientists and institutions from both sides of the Atlantic. The project brings together Italian excellence in neuroscience and nanotechnology with American support in biomedical research and international funding, creating a shared scientific platform focused on early diagnosis and prevention.
The study is coordinated by researchers at the Italian National Research Council, with a central role played by scientists from the Institute for Nanoscience and the Institute of Neuroscience. On the U.S. side, the project is supported through collaboration with American universities and research programs backed by the National Institutes of Health, reflecting a shared commitment to understanding brain disorders at their earliest stages.
