Italy is the world’s second fastest growing national brand, but companies lack support

Brand Italy increases in value but the image of the country abroad is not yet outstanding. This is what emerges from the 2015 report by Brand Finance that has compiled the ranking of the most important national brands worldwide.

According to the report, the value of Italy's National Brand Value increased by 12%, with the highest increase after that of India (+32% between 2014 and 2015) among the top ten nations. In terms of value increase, Italy fared better than world economic giants, such as the US (+2%) and Japan (+3%), and has kept unaltered its position in the world ranking (9th place).
