Italian news agency Italpress is strengthening its presence in the United States by opening a new television studio in the heart of Times Square, marking another step in its international growth strategy.
The new TV studio will be located inside Piazza Italia, a business platform that for the past five years has supported Italian companies entering and expanding in the U.S. market. Piazza Italia works with leading Made in Italy brands, major manufacturers, and emerging designers to help them establish and grow their presence across North America.
Piazza Italia is headquartered at 10 Times Square, occupying a prestigious 2,400-square-meter space in the center of Manhattan. The facility includes 1,800 square meters on the 22nd floor, a 600-square-meter rooftop, a large conference hall, and dedicated areas for events, meetings, and press conferences.
The agreement was signed in New York by Italpress founder and editor-in-chief Gaspare Borsellino and Piazza Italia President Alberto Milani and Vice President Marco Giovanelli.
In addition to hosting the new Italpress television studio, the partnership establishes an operational collaboration between the two organizations. Together, they will offer integrated services to Italian companies seeking to expand into the U.S. market, as well as American businesses interested in developing opportunities in Italy.
Having a dedicated studio in the center of Manhattan will also enable Italpress to increase its production of news reports, interviews, video features, multimedia content, and new television formats directly from New York.
"We are very pleased, as Piazza Italia, to launch this partnership with Italpress," said Piazza Italia Vice President Marco Giovanelli. "We see this as a long-term collaboration. We already share many ideas, and I am confident we can do outstanding work together to support Italian companies operating in the United States alongside such an important media partner."
Gaspare Borsellino, founder and editor-in-chief of Italpress, also welcomed the agreement. "This is another significant milestone in our agency's growth and internationalization strategy, which has already resulted in nearly 30 agreements over the past five years. Our partnership with Piazza Italia gives us access to a prestigious location in the heart of Times Square, where we can produce exclusive video and multimedia content."
Borsellino added that Piazza Italia's experience and deep understanding of the American market will allow Italpress to further strengthen its presence in this important region of North America by developing specialized editorial services and creating new opportunities for companies doing business between Italy and the United States.
The agreement with Piazza Italia represents another important step in Italpress's international expansion, reinforcing the agency's U.S. presence while increasing its production capabilities in New York and fostering new economic and business connections between Italy and the United States.
