Italian Rochester Native Awarded Knighthood by Italian Royals and a Sacred Roman Catholic Order of Chivalry

Rochester (NY) Native, Silvano Orsi, the founder of Rochester's Little Italy Neighborhood, has been awarded an official title of nobility (Knighthood or "Cavaliere" in Italian) by H.R. H. Prince Carlo I, Duke of Castro, and Head of the Italian Royal House of Bourbone - Two Sicilies.

Orsi has been accepted into the ranks of an ancient order of chivalry, the "Sacred Military Constantian Order of St George." For more info on the Sacred Order please see: www.ConstantinianOrder.net   

Orsi has been recognized by the Sacred Order and awarded a medal of honor for his years of community service as the respected Founder of Rochester's Little Italy Historic District and for aiding thousands of needy individuals and families, as well as the sick, the hungry, homeless and poor individuals in the Rochester and Upstate NY area. Orsi was also awarded the honors for promoting the Roman Catholic Faith and the Italian culture.

Orsi is also the founder of Rochester's DeCecco Little Italy Festival.
