On 15 April – Leonardo da Vinci’s birth date – Italy celebrates the Day of Italian Research in the world, to give visibility to all Italian researchers abroad, to make their work known, a reason for profound pride for the whole country.
This year’s program at Chapman University explores how Italy remembers and re-imagines its cultural identity. Dr. Federico Pacchioni will discuss Federico Fellini’s evocative “creative saint” figure and its role in shaping modern artistic legacy.
