Italian Film Festival USA returns to Pittsburgh with free screenings of contemporary Italian cinema

The Italian Film Festival USA is back! Check out the Pittsburgh edition of the largest festival dedicated exclusively to Italian film in the United States, present in 13 cities from coast to coast.

View the best line-up of recent Italian cinema with films from award-winning directors, as well as debut films from exciting new talent. This is your chance to see the latest and best in Italian film for free. All films are shown in original language with English subtitles.

The Pittsburgh portion of the Italian Film Festival USA is presented in collaboration with the Italian Program at the University of Pittsburgh. Join the History Center's Italian American Program on Thursday, March 26 for the festival's opening night with a screening of the film Napoli-New York, a historical drama about Neapolitan orphans Carmine and Celestina who stow away on a ship bound for the United States.
