Italy’s eyewear industry closed 2025 with stable production levels but growing pressure on international sales, highlighting both the resilience and the vulnerabilities of one of the country’s most export-oriented manufacturing sectors.
Total production value for the year remained essentially flat at around €5.6 billion, matching the previous year and confirming the sector’s ability to maintain output despite a challenging global environment. The structure of the industry showed limited change.
