Now, a growing number of small businesses are adding a new ingredient to that formula: artificial intelligence. Far from replacing craftsmanship, AI is increasingly being used as a tool to strengthen competitiveness, improve efficiency, and support the future of Made in Italy.
According to recent research, 35.6% of Italian artisan businesses now use artificial intelligence in some form. Just two years ago, the figure was approximately five times lower, highlighting the extraordinary speed at which digital technologies are being adopted across the sector.
