In an atmosphere charged with emotion, Italy’s Consul General in New York, Fabrizio Di Michele, hosted the final official event of his mandate, bidding farewell to the Italian and Italian-American community that welcomed him four years ago.
The gathering, held at the Consulate on Park Avenue, marked the presentation of a commemorative stamp dedicated to Robert F. Kennedy, issued on the centenary of his birth by Italy’s Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy in collaboration with Poste Italiane.
