The Italian American Veterans Post No. 1, 4567 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, will hold the annual Festa Italiana, a celebration of Italian culture, on Sept. 14. The day will have free events starting at noon.
The Rev. Daniel Divis will offer the blessing and prayer and Lorain Mayor Joe Koziura will speak during the event. Post Commander Leo Citro will recognize Rose DeAngelis among Italian women, Matthew Maniaci among Italian men and Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, owned by Vincent Giovannazzo.
