The Italian American Chamber of Commerce of Michigan (IACCM) welcomed Consul of Italy in Detroit Paolo Zanotto to their meeting on March 4, 2026. The members were happy to hear him speak about his background and plans for serving the Italian American community. The IACCM Board and membership look forward to collaborating with Consul Zanotto on future projects.
Consul Zanotto was pleased to witness the swearing in of eight young people. New members Brianne Badalamenti, Bella Galli, Carlina Galli, Sydney Gooley, Mackenzie Mertz, James Milkey III, Samuel Nehra, and Stephanie Welsing were welcomed enthusiastically by the IACCM membership.
The organization has been actively working to recruit young members to ensure continuity of its mission of fostering economic growth and cultural exchange, by connecting businesses, professionals, and organizations, bridging Italy’s rich traditions with the opportunities of the American marketplace. Through strategic partnerships, advocacy, and a strong network, IACCM continues to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and lasting ties between Italy and the United States.
