Italy’s Andrea Fantin knows he has to get a good night’s sleep before his team plays in the final of the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championships, but he admits a healthy sleep routine will be harder to stick to than usual.
Italy became the first team to qualify for the men’s flag football tournament at Los Angeles 2028, where the sport will be making its Olympic debut, after beating Canada 41-36 in the semi-final in Düsseldorf, Germany on Saturday (15 August).
